Speaking of airport baggage…

Ever wonder what happens to all that unclaimed baggage?

Well, it ends up in a couple of different places:

#1 – The Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro, Alabama buys items from airlines that have never been claimed. Then they sell them in their store to the public.

One unique service they offer, is “e-mail notification” when certain types of items arrive in their store!

Check out this video about the Unclaimed Baggage Center!

#2 – The Property Room auctions off goods that have been seized by police departments and stolen items that police have been unable to return.

One unique service they offer is a “database search” to see if your lost or stolen goods have turned up there. If your items are there, they are returned to your police department, and then to you.
